More from NASCAR

With Furniture Row Racing coming out on top thanks to Martin Truex Jr. winning the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series championship and his teammate Erik Jones being the Rookie of the Year, does this make them the favorite to once again be the top team in the sport next season? Which team has the best chance to dethrone them as the sport’s best?

Joe Gibbs Racing should also be a factor like they were this season, and Team Penske should be strong as well by adding Ryan Blaney, whose departure from Wood Brothers Racing may hurt the team, as Paul Menard, Richard Childress Racing’s lone non-playoff driver this season, will be replacing him. Will Hendrick Motorsports have a better season next season than they did this season in what was a rather disappointing 2017 campaign?
