iRacing backs Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson for Chili Bowl Nationals
iRacing, the popular PC motorsports simulation, is sponsoring 2017 Truck Series champion Bell and Kyle Larson for the 2018 Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations announced today that they will be sponsoring Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson for the Chili Bowl Nationals starting on Tuesday, January 9th. This promotion was made in part with the announcement that the company will be laser-scanning and developing the Tulsa Expo Raceway for use in its motorsports simulation software.
Both Larson and Bell are regulars in the iRacing community along with three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, Xfinity Series driver Ty Majeski, and former Camping World Truck Series driver Rico Abreu. Other notable drivers who have used the software include A.J. Allmendinger, Darrell Wallace Jr., and even Scott Speed.
Since it’s inception in 2008, iRacing.com has become one of the best motorsport simulations on the market.

The company has licenses with NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA and World of Outlaws among many other motorsports sanctioning bodies, tracks, and car manufacturers all across the planet, and that list continues to build yearly.
The Chili Bowl Nationals is a dirt racing event held in January of every year that is considered “The Biggest Dirt Midget Race of the Year” by many people within the Dirt Racing community (or like the “Snowball Derby” for Dirt Midgets). In the press release provided by the company, Larson made his excitement known for iRacing’s inclusion of the Chili Bowl Nationals in the online simulation software as well as their sponsorship for the Chili Bowl, according to myracepass.com.
"“The fact that we’ll soon be able to run the Chili Bowl virtually is pretty sweet! I can’t wait to run that track whenever I want! It’s been a great working with iRacing and having them on my car for this event. What they have done in the past year with their dirt program and what they continue to do is so awesome for our sport!”"

While the dirt racing midget is currently available in the software, iRacing is expected to release the Tulsa Expo Raceway sometime this summer. They are currently at Tulsa Expo Raceway laser-scanning and taking reference photography to begin work on the track immediately.
