The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards has confirmed the remainder of their 2018 television schedule, with MAVTV covering a dozen races.

Television makes racing accessible to fans around the United States and the world and is a key pillar in the success of any national racing division. The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards is fortunate to have relationships with two key media partners – Fox Sports and MAVTV. In the second year of their three-year contract, the latter network will air a dozen races from the series.

After announcing their new deal with Fox Sports to have eight races air on FS1 and FS2, ARCA officials confirmed the remaining races on the 2018 calendar will air on MAVTV. Out of those twelve races, all but one will air live. The July 7 race at Iowa Speedway is the only exception, airing on a tape-delayed basis.

Bob Patison, President of MAVTV, had this to say about the continuation of their partnership, according to ARCA Racing.

"ARCA is a well-respected and highly professional stock car racing series. It is definitely a good fit for MAVTV. Adding more live coverage of the series in 2018 builds on the momentum started last year by ARCA and MAVTV."

Mark Gundrum, Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships for the ARCA Racing Series, was equally as excited about the deal.

"The relationship formed last year between ARCA and MAVTV has been nothing but positive. From our teams, to our fans, to our sponsors, everyone at ARCA is excited about our partnership with MAVTV, and this announcement only adds to that excitement."

More from ARCA

Races to be covered by MAVTV include the April 7 event at Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, both races at Salem Speedway, both dirt races, and the single events at Madison, Toledo, Lucas Oil Raceway, Iowa, and Elko Speedway. The channel will also cover one of ARCA’s Superspeedway races for the first time, being the June event at Michigan International Speedway.

There was previously some uncertainty as to whether the deal with MAVTV would continue in 2018, with no reference to the contract when the Fox Sports deal was announced. Broadcast teams for both FS1 / FS2 and MAVTV both remain unannounced, but it is expected that longtime faces like Ralph Sheheen and Jim Tretow could return.
