This morning, NAPA Auto Parts announce a two-year sponsorship extension with Hendrick Motorsports and rising NASCAR star Chase Elliott.

One of the biggest components to being successful in NASCAR is the ability to keep sponsors happy. So far, it looks as though Chase Elliott has done just that for NAPA Auto Parts.

This morning, NAPA Auto Parts and Hendrick Motorsports announced a two-year extension to their current contract. NAPA has been a long-time sponsor in NASCAR and has been with Chase Elliott since 2014. NAPA, of course, was the main sponsor of Elliott the year he won the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.

The new contract will pair NAPA, Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports through the 2020 season. However, that is not all they are doing. It has also been reported NAPA will also increase the total number of races they will sponsor to 26. Here is what Elliott had to say about the news, according to NASCAR.com

"“The relationship with NAPA has been a major part of my career starting in 2014,” Elliott said in a team release. “Their support has been huge for me, and I’m very thankful for what they’ve done for our whole team at Hendrick Motorsports. … I’m proud to represent all of those folks and look forward to having them part of our No. 9 team for many more years.”"

It will only be a matter of time before Elliott finds his way to victory lane in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. I am sure NAPA feels this way as well. This partnership could be one that lasts for several years and is one I don’t see ending before Elliott’s career concludes.

Elliott and NASCAR

It’s hard to think of a time when NAPA was not on the hood of a car. As a company, NAPA has been one of the most loyal sponsors the sport has had throughout its rich history. It is fitting to have the NAPA and Elliott names paired together for years to come.

More from NASCAR

2014 was a big year for Chase Elliott, who captured the Xfinity Series championship donning the blue and gold. Elliott made his NASCAR Cup Series debut with Hendrick Motorsports at Martinsville Speedway in 2015, again with NAPA on the hood. Elliott began his first full-time season in 2016 with Hendrick Motorsports, and as a matter of fact, NAPA was his primary sponsor then as well.

NAPA has been a great sponsor of NASCAR for several years and has shown a great commitment to the sport and the Elliott family. Elliott will look to build on a great 2017 season in this Sunday’s running of the Daytona 500. Of course, getting his newly extended sponsor in Victory Lane again at Daytona would be a great way to start the season!
