Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen was his usual self when he gave some pretty interesting answers to reporters during a recent press conference.

Kimi Raikkonen, the 2007 Formula 1 champion who is known for giving serious and honest assessments of situations and not backing down when questioned, gave several pretty interesting answers to questions in a press conference on Thursday.

Raikkonen, whose nickname is fittingly “The Ice Man”,  was asked several questions during the Drivers Press Conference during previews ahead of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain, and he spoke his mind when answering each and every one of them.

According to Sky Sports F1, here is how he responded when he was asked, “Kimi you have eight podiums here, but qualifying not so good only one P3. Is that the biggest difference at any track and if so why?”

"“I don’t look too closely what has happened in the past. Obviously you start where you qualify.”"

Here is how he responded when he was asked, “Kimi will Mercedes have as big an advantage this weekend as in Australia where they had seven tenths in qualifying?”

"“Who knows, you can keep guessing. I have zero interest to start guessing.”"

Here is how he responded when he was asked, “Kimi have you given any feedback to Liberty about the future direction of F1?”

"“No, in the end it’s not our decision. It’s up to them. It is their business. They make plans and obviously decisions what they fell is correct. I don’t know what they’re doing. I know very little about it and I am not interested either, so we’ll see tomorrow what they say. It is in many years’ time anyhow and I doubt that I’ll be here so it doesn’t really bother me at all.”"

Here is how he responded when he was asked, “If you had the power how would be the Formula 1? What would you change in the Formula 1 we have today?”

"“I don’t have. I don’t have the power so what’s the point to wasting…even think about it? I don’t understand where you…what is the point for me? To give you a list? Because in the end because I have zero power.”"

Here is how he responded when he was asked again, “What would you change?”

"“I can’t, you understand? We can’t. We don’t make the rules, so that’s my point. So what’s the point of even making a story out of it?”"

Raikkonen went on to top the speed charts in the second practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix with a lap time of 89.817 seconds around the 15-turn, 5.412-kilometer (3.363-mile) circuit.
