The second race of the 21-race 2018 Formula 1 season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, is in the books. How do each of the sport’s 10 teams look at this point?
After winning the 2018 Formula 1 season opener, the Australian Grand Prix, two weeks ago, Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel took the top spot on the podium once again in the Bahrain Grand Prix, giving both he and his team two wins in two races so far this season.
However, Ferrari’s other driver, Kimi Raikkonen, was forced to retire from the race at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain after an unsafe release from his pit box caused him to hit one of his crew members, who broke his leg as a result of the accident.
Raikkonen ended up pulling away from his pit box with three new tires and one old tire before coming to a stop and exiting his car. He had to settle for an 18th place finish following a 3rd place result in the season opener.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s two drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton, who still have not won a race so far this season, finished the Bahrain Grand Prix in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, with Bottas nearly hunting down Vettel toward the end of the race.
How did the combination of Vettel’s win, Raikkonen’s misfortune, and the solid run of both of Mercedes’ drivers affect the most recent edition of Formula 1 Team Power Rankings?
