The ninth race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season is set to take place this Saturday at Richmond Raceway. Here is the entry list for the Toyota Owners 400.

The Toyota Owners 400 is set to be the ninth race of the 36-race 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season, meaning it will serve as the one-quarter mark to the season that seems like it only just began. This race is set to take place this Saturday, April 21st.

The 400-lap race is set to take place at the four-turn, 0.75-mile D-shaped Richmond Raceway oval in Richmond, Virginia, and it is the first of two races that are scheduled to take place at the track this season, with the other being the second of three races in the round of 16 in the playoffs in September.

Going back to the September Richmond race in the 2014 season, the last seven races at the track have been won by seven different drivers. Last season’s April Richmond race was won by Team Penske’s Joey Logano, while the most recent Richmond race last September was won by Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

A total of 38 drivers are entered into the 2018 Toyota Owners 400. Along with the total number of drivers entered in last season’s April Richmond race and the Richmond races in September of 1994, March of 1995 and September of 1995, this total of 38 drivers is tied for the lowest total number of drivers in a Richmond race since 37 drivers drove in the March Richmond race back in the 1994 season.

That said, the total of 38 drivers in this race is tied for the third highest total throughout nine races so far this season, although it is one driver less than the total of 39 drivers who drove in the Bristol race this past weekend.
