Kevin Harvick delivered Stewart-Haas Racing their sixth victory of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season at Kansas. What effect did that have on the team power rankings?

For the sixth time in 12 races so far in the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season, a Stewart-Haas Racing driver made his way to victory lane. For the fifth time in those six races, that driver was Kevin Harvick in his #4 Ford.

Harvick started from the pole position in the KC Masterpiece 400 at the four-turn, 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway, but while Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson led more laps than he did, he pulled through to deliver Stewart-Haas Racing their sixth win of the season, thus making their win percentage 50% in 2018.

Clint Bowyer delivered Stewart-Haas Racing their other victory in the 2018 season thus far, as he gave them their fourth win of the season back toward the end of March at Martinsville Speedway in the STP 500.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

The team’s other two drivers, Kurt Busch and Aric Almirola, have had solid seasons, but they have not yet been to victory lane in 2018.

Stewart-Haas Racing’s win total of six is twice as high as the team with the next highest win total. That team, Joe Gibbs Racing, have won three races so far this season. Only three other teams aside of these two teams have won one race in 2018.

How did Harvick’s victory and the rest of the action at Kansas Speedway affect the NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings following the 2018 KC Masterpiece 400.

Keep in mind that because of the fact that Trevor Bayne is no longer a full-time driver, he is not factored into the calculation for Roush Fenway Racing’s rank in these rankings.
