For just the second time since the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season began, Formula 1, the NASCAR Cup Series, IndyCar and Formula E all have off this weekend.

For the second and final time since the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series started in mid-February with the Daytona 500 until the week after the 2018 Formula 1 season comes to a close with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Formula 1, the NASCAR Cup Series, IndyCar and Formula E all have off this weekend.

The only other time that all four of these series had off on the same weekend this season since the Cup Series season got underway on Sunday, February 18 was Easter weekend back on Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1.

These four series are not set to all have off on the same weekend until the weekend of Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, which is the weekend after the 2018 Formula 1 season finale at Yas Marina Circuit and two weekends before the start of the 2018-2019 Formula E season in Saudi Arabia with the Ad Diriyah ePrix.

For the second and final time this year, all four series had races last weekend leading up to this off weekend. On Saturday, June 9, IndyCar had a race at Texas Motor Speedway, while on Sunday, June 10, Formula E had a race at the Zürich Street Circuit, Formula 1 had a race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and the NASCAR Cup Series had a race at Michigan International Speedway.

The only other time that all four of these racing series had races on the same weekend was during the weekend of Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15, although the Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway was suspended until Monday, April 16, and it is not scheduled to happen again in 2018.

Next weekend, three of these four series are set to be back in action. Formula 1 is set to lead things off on the morning of Sunday, June 24 at 10:10 a.m. ET with the French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard. Then that afternoon at 12:30 p.m. ET, an IndyCar race, the Kohler Grand Prix, is set to take place at Road America. Finally, a few hours later at 3:00 p.m. ET, a NASCAR Cup Series race, the Toyota/Save Mart 350, is set to begin at Sonoma Raceway.

There are no Formula E races scheduled until the doubleheader races that are scheduled to wrap up the 2017-2018 season on the streets of Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York. Those two races, the two races of the New York ePrix, are set to take place on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15.
