Conclusion

After the French Grand Prix, the top seven drivers in the formulated Formula 1 Driver Power Ranking stayed in the exact same position in which they entered the race following the Canadian Grand Prix.

More from Formula One

That could not have been further from the case following the Austrian Grand Prix. In fact, all 10 of the drivers who were in the top 10 after the French Grand Prix are now in different positions within the top 10 after the Austrian Grand Prix. Only three drivers throughout the entire field stayed in the same positions they were in before the Austrian Grand Prix after the Austrian Grand Prix. Those drivers were Sergio Perez, Marcus Ericsson and Sergey Sirotkin.

The non-formulated Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings also featured a lot of movement, even at the top. All six of the top six drivers moved, and 18 of the sport’s 20 drivers moved. The two drivers who did not move were Sirotkin and Kevin Magnussen.
