The 18th race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season is the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Here is the full entry list for that race.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is set to mark the halfway point of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season, as it is the 18th of the season’s 36 scheduled races. That race is scheduled to take place this Saturday night at Daytona International Speedway.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is scheduled to last for 160 laps around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Daytona International Speedway oval in Daytona Beach, Florida, making it the shortest of the season’s four restrictor plate races.

This weekend’s visit to Daytona International Speedway marks the second and final visit to the historic track by the Cup Series this season. This track is the first track to feature two races this year. Of the 18 races on the 2018 schedule following the Coke Zero Sugar 400, a total of 11 are scheduled to be held at tracks that have already featured races so far this season.

A total of 41 drivers are on the entry list for the Coke Zero Sugar 400, meaning one of the 41 drivers who attempts to qualify for the race will end up being sent home early and only 40 of the drivers who are on the entry list will end up actually starting the race.

Only three of the season’s first 17 races featured a full field of 40 drivers. Two of those three races were the restrictor plate races at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, the Daytona 500 and the GEICO 500, respectively, and the other one was the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Coca-Cola 600.

A Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway has not failed to have a full field since the 1997 season. In the race at the track in July of 1997, 42 drivers drove despite the fact that the maximum field size was 43 drivers at the time.
