Brad Keselowski

There were a bunch of upset drivers after last Saturday’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. One of the more frustrated drivers was Brad Keselowski. Keselowski’s day ended early after he was tagged in the rear by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Keselowski put a majority of the blame on William Byron for blocking him way too early. In his post-crash interview, Keselowski made it very clear that he will not stand for that kind of blocking.

The fact that Keselowski left Daytona fired up leads me to believe that this will be his weekend. Kentucky Speedway has been a kind track to Keselowski, who has won three times at the track since the NASCAR Cup Series began racing there in 2011.

Keselowski’s first win there came in 2012 while his second win there came in 2014 and his most recent win there came in 2016. He has had a trend of winning at Kentucky every even year, and with it being 2018, the stars align.

It’s an even year and Keselowski is fired up. Good luck to the rest of the field on Saturday at trying to keep him out of victory lane. The driver of the #2 Team Penske Ford will look to score win number four at Kentucky in this Saturday’s Quaker State 400. A word for the wise: no matter what you do, don’t try to block Keselowski at any time on Saturday night.
