With three races remaining in the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series regular season, how do the 30 full-time drivers stack up against one another?

Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick earned his seventh victory of the 36-race 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season in the season’s 23rd race, the Consumers Energy 400, at Michigan International Speedway.

Harvick, who finished in second place in the first race of the season at the four-turn, 2.0-mile (3.219-kilometer) Michigan International Speedway oval in Brooklyn, Michigan back in June, has won more races this season than anybody else in the field with three races remaining in the regular season.

The only two drivers relatively close to Harvick in the wins category right now are Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch and Furniture Row Racing’s Martin Truex Jr. They have won six races and four races, respectively, so far this season.

Only after the Daytona 500, the season opener that was won by Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Dillon, has Harvick trailed anybody in the wins category this season. Since then, he has either been tied for the lead or been ahead of the rest of the field. Will this ever change before the season comes to a close?

How did Harvick’s seventh victory of the season affect the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings? Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings following the season’s second race at Michigan International Speedway.
