Chris Buescher’s #37 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet is set to feature a fan’s résumé on it in this Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas.

JTG Daugherty Racing’s Chris Buescher is set to run a paint scheme in this Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race, the South Point 400, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that has never been seen before.

In fact, the only place where what is featured on the paint scheme of the 25-year-old Prosper, Texas native’s #37 Chevrolet has been seen anywhere before is on the résumé of Briar Starr.

Starr, a recent college graduate from Burdick, Kansas, won a contest held by Natural Light to help jump-start his career. By winning this contest, his photograph, contact information and résumé will be featured all over Buescher’s #37 Chevrolet throughout the upcoming weekend.

Here are a few photographs of Buescher’s car for this Sunday’s race — and hopefully the start of an amazing professional career for Starr.

Natural Light ran this contest as a result of the fact that the entry-level job market in 2018 is as competitive as ever and more than 44 million Americans graduate with crippling college debt.

While uploading your résumé to an online dropbox or perhaps e-mailing it or physically handing it in to your potential employer can be effective, Natural Light believe, and justifiably so, that there is no better way to get your résumé recognized than by slapping it on a stock car for a nationally televised NASCAR event.

Starr, an aspiring motorsports journalist, had this to say about the opportunity to have his résumé featured on Buescher’s car, according to ESPN.

"“This is the craziest opportunity! I just graduated college and quickly realized how hard it is to land a job right away. I saw Natty Light was going to help someone get noticed, help them get a job, and had to send in my resume. To win something like this, it’s so cool! Especially since I’m a huge racing fan and want to kick off my professional career in NASCAR.”"

Here is what Daniel Blake, the senior director of value brands at Anheuser-Busch, had to say about the matter, according to ESPN.

"“There’s never been more pressure on our drinkers to land a full-time position right after graduation. They immediately face the cut-throat job market and a lot struggle with college debt. We don’t want those first few months in the real world to overshadow their great memories from college. This was the perfect opportunity to give back and help Briar stand out in the stack of resumes.”"

The South Point 400 is set to be a 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Las Vegas Motor Speedway oval in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the 27th race of the 36-race season and thus the first race of the playoffs, it is sure to be an action-packed race, as 16 drivers will be trying to secure the first round of 12 berth.

While Buescher is not in the playoffs, which he last qualified for in his rookie season back in 2016, he has had a few solid races this season and will be looking for another one after a solid 15th place finish in the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this year in March. His performance in this race is one of his best performances of the year so far. His best finishes of 2018 are fifth place finishes, which he recorded in both races at Daytona International Speedway.

If you keep your eye out for Buescher’s car, you can’t miss it given the fact that there is literally a résumé on it. His average starting position and finishing position are 25.3 and 23.3, respectively, through the season’s first 26 races, so look for him to run around the middle of the pack throughout the 400-mile race.
