With the first round of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs in the books, how do the sport’s 15 full-time teams stack up against one another?

Not including the last five race NASCAR Cup Series races, including the final two races of the 26-race regular season and the three races in the opening round of the 2018 playoffs, the round of 16, Team Penske have earned one victory this season.

Including these five races, Team Penske have earned five victories this season.

After Brad Keselowski’s three-race winning streak was ended last week with Kyle Busch’s victory in the race at Richmond Raceway, Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney responded by earning his first victory of the season in the Bank of America Roval 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway roval.

Blaney’s victory in the 110-lap race around the 17-turn, 2.28-mile (3.669-kilometer) Charlotte Motor Speedway roval in Concord, North Carolina moved Team Penske to third place on the wins list this season behind only Stewart-Haas Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing. Stewart-Haas Racing have earned 10 victories this season while Joe Gibbs Racing have earned eight.

Team Penske entered this race tied for third place on the wins list with Furniture Row Racing. Furniture Row Racing earned their fourth victory of the season with Martin Truex Jr.’s victory in the race at Kentucky Speedway back in mid-July, but they have not earned any victories since.

How did Team Penske’s fifth victory of the season affect the NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings heading into the round of 12.
