Conclusion

Following Chase Elliott’s victory in the Gander Outdoors 400, six drivers have now won at least two races this season. Elliott is tied for fifth place on the 2018 wins list with Clint Bowyer, who won the March race at Martinsville Speedway and the June race at Michigan International Speedway.

The four other drivers who have won at least two races this season are Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski. They have earned seven, seven, four and three victories, respectively, through the season’s first 30 races.

Five other drivers have won at least one race this season. In addition to Ryan Blaney, who won last Sunday’s race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway roval to close out the round of 16, these drivers are Austin Dillon, Joey Logano, Erik Jones and Kurt Busch.

Of the 11 drivers who have won at least one race this season, nine are still in championship contention. The only two who are not are Dillon and Jones. The three drivers who have not yet won a race this season but are still in championship contention are Aric Almirola, Kyle Larson and Alex Bowman.
