#18 through #16

Williams Racing, Mercedes. GEORGE RUSSELL. #18. . No. 63

George Russell is set to be arguably the most talented young driver on the grid in the 2019 season. The 2017 GP3 Series and 2018 Formula 2 champion likely won’t be in a position to have a flashy season as far as scoring points is concerned given the fact that he is set to drive for Williams, but look for him to give it no less than his all in 2019 as he pursues a potential ride with Mercedes in the future, perhaps even in the near future.

#17. . No. 28. Scuderia Toro Rosso, Honda. ALEXANDER ALBON

Alexander Albon was all set to make his Formula E debut driving full-time for Nissan e.dams in the 2018-2019 season, but Toro Rosso came along and got him out of his contract with the team, placing him back in the Red Bull Racing driver program that dropped him back in 2012. The 22-year-old Thai-British driver, who finished in third place in the 2018 Formula 2 driver standings behind two other drivers who are also set to compete in Formula 1 in 2019, could surprise a lot of people in the 2019 season.

No. 99. Alfa Romeo Sauber, Ferrari. ANTONIO GIOVINAZZI. #16.

Antonio Giovinazzi is set to drive full-time in Formula 1 for the first time in his career in 2019, as he was Ferrari’s selection to drive for Sauber since Ferrari are entitled to select one of the team’s two drivers per Sauber’s title sponsorship deal with Alfa Romeo. Aside of test driving for Haas and Ferrari in the 2017 season and for Sauber and Ferrari in the 2018 season, the 24-year-old Italian’s Formula 1 experience is limited to two races in the 2017 season when he drove as the replacement for the injured Pascal Wehrlein. While many people see him as being crash-prone, he has displayed a lot of talent in a number of different series throughout the course of his career.
