With three of the 13 races on the 2018-2019 Formula E schedule in the books, how do the sport’s 11 teams stack up against one another?
Sam Bird delivered Envision Virgin Racing their first victory of the 2018-2019 Formula E season by winning the third race on the 13-race schedule, the Santiago ePrix.
Bird’s victory in the 36-lap race around the 14-turn, 1.492-mile (2.401-kilometer) Parque O’Higgins Circuit in Santiago, Chile made Envision Virgin Racing the third different team to win a race through the season’s first three races.
Antonio Felix da Costa opened up the season by delivering BMW i Andretti Motorsport a victory, which was the team’s first ever Formula E victory, in the Ad Diriyah ePrix. Jerome d’Ambrosio responded by delivering Mahindra Racing a victory in the Marrakesh ePrix.

Bird’s victory coupled with the fifth place finish of his teammate, Robin Frijns, in the Santiago ePrix shot Envision Virgin Racing to the top of the team standings after they entered the race in fourth place out of the sport’s 11 teams.
This is the case despite the fact that neither Bird nor Frijns scored any points in the season opener. Neither one of these two drivers, however, has finished outside of the top five since that race. In the season’s second race, Frijns finished in second place while Bird finished in third.
