Three-time Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna is set to advance to the championship of the Formula 1 “GOAT” poll against Michael Schumacher.

Ayrton Senna became the second of two Formula 1 drivers who will advance to the fourth and final round, the championship round, of the Formula 1 “GOAT” poll, where fans can vote for who they believe the sport’s greatest driver of all-time is.

Senna entered the 16-driver bracket as the #6 seed, and he did so as a result of the fact that seeding was determined by a mathematical formula based on two variables: championships and race victories. Championship count as 10 points each and race victories count as one point each.

Senna earned 41 victories and three championships throughout his Formula 1 career to earn a total of 71 points using this formula.
