Which drivers are set to compete in the seventh race of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season, the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500, at Texas Motor Speedway? Here is the entry list for this race.

The seventh race on the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500, is scheduled to take place this Sunday, March 31 at Texas Motor Speedway.

This race is the first of two races scheduled to take place at the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) high-banked Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas this season. The other scheduled race at the track in 2019, which is the second race of the round of 8 of the playoffs, is scheduled to take place in early November.

A total of 40 drivers are set to compete in this Sunday’s 334-lap race at the track. Through the season’s first seven races, the driver total of 40 on this entry list is the second highest driver total.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Only the entry list for the season opener, the Daytona 500, at Daytona International Speedway featured more than 40 drivers on the entry list, as 42 drivers were on it. As a result, two drivers were bumped from the field for this race, as 40 is the maximum number of drivers allowed in each race.

All 33 of the full-time drivers, of whom all 33 have competed in each of the season’s first six races, are set to compete in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500. Of these 33 drivers, 32 are eligible to earn Cup Series points. Premium Motorsports’ Ross Chastain is the only full-time driver who is not eligible to earn Cup Series points. Instead, he is eligible to earn Xfinity Series points, as he competes in that series on a full-time basis as well.

Of the seven part-time drivers who are set to compete in this race, three are set to drive for chartered teams while four are set to driver for non-chartered teams. That said, there will hardly be a difference in terms of being a chartered team or a non-chartered team for this race since the entry list consists of 40 drivers, so no drivers will be bumped from the field.

The three part-time drivers who are set to drive for chartered teams in this race are Petty Ware Racing’s Cody Ware, Rick Ware Racing’s Bayley Currey and Spire Motorsports’ Garrett Smithley. While Ware is a part-time driver, he has competed in each of the season’s first six races.

The four part-time drivers who are set to drive for non-chartered teams in this race are Premium Motorsports’ Reed Sorenson, MBM Motorsports’ Timmy Hill, Gaunt Brothers Racing’s Parker Kligerman and an unconfirmed driver for Obaika Racing, which have not yet competed in a race this season despite the fact that they planned to field the #97 Toyota for Tanner Berryhill on a full-time basis this year.

Here is a list of the 40 drivers, including the one who has not yet been confirmed, who are set to compete in the 2019 O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
