NASCAR: Kyle Busch has won 9 of his 14 starts so far in 2019

Kyle Busch has competed in 14 NASCAR races across the Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series so far this season, and he has won nine of them.

The 2019 NASCAR season only began last month, but Kyle Busch racing has already competed in 14 races across the Cup Series, the Xfinity Series and the Truck Series.

As the full-time driver of the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in the Cup Series, the 33-year-old Las Vegas, Nevada native has competed in each of the first six races on the schedule. He has driven the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in four of the first six Xfinity Series races of the season and the #51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota in four of the first five Truck Series races of the season as well.

In these 14 races, Busch has already earned nine victories. He has earned two victories in his six Cup Series starts, three victories in his four Xfinity Series starts, and he has not failed to win any of his four Truck Series starts.

But this may not even be the most impressive statistic regarding Busch’s 14 starts across these three series so far this year. In only one of these starts has he finished lower than third place, as he finished in sixth in the Cup Series season’s second race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Busch’s average finish in these 14 races is an unprecedented 1.79, and he has not failed to win consecutive races all year long. He is currently on an 11-race streak of top three finishes, and included in these top three finishes are eight victories and only one second place finish and two third place finishes.

His average finish in his six Cup Series starts is an impressive 2.67, and his average finish in his four Xfinity Series starts is 1.25. By winning each of his four Truck Series starts, his average finish in that series is 1.00.

Busch is slated to compete in each of the remaining 30 Cup Series races on this year’s schedule, but to the relief of his haters, he only has a combined four Xfinity Series and Truck Series races left on his schedule for the 2019 season.

He is set to compete in the Xfinity Series races at Watkins Glen International, Bristol Motor Speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 3, Friday, August 16 and Saturday, September 7, respectively, and he is set to make his final Truck Series start of the season in the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, May 17.

How many more victories will Kyle Busch earn before the 2019 NASCAR season reaches its conclusion? In total, he is set to compete in 34 more races by the time the season is scheduled to end in mid-November, so don’t be surprised to see him add quite a few more to his current tally of nine.
