With eight of the 36 races on the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule in the books, how do the sport’s 15 full-time teams rank against one another?
After the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, which was the second race of the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season, came to a close back on the final Sunday in February at Atlanta Motor Speedway, two different teams had won a race this season.
Joe Gibbs Racing opened up the season with a victory in the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, as Denny Hamlin won this race, before Team Penske earned their first victory of the season in the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, as Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag.
Six races have been contested since Keselowski won this race, and one week into April, Joe Gibbs Racing and Team Penske are still the only two teams that have won a race this season. Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch continued this trend by rallying from an early crash to win the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
