Following Chase Elliott’s first victory of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season in the GEICO 500, how do the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings look?

Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott earned his first victory of the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season by winning the season’s 10th race, the GEICO 500, at Talladega Superspeedway in thrilling fashion.

Elliott’s victory in the 188-lap race around the four-turn, 2.66-mile (4.281-kilometer) high-banked Talladega Superspeedway oval in Lincoln, Alabama made him the sixth different driver to win a race so far this season. This victory was the fourth victory of his Cup Series career.

Of the other five drivers who have won at least one race so far this season, three of them have won multiple races in 2019. These three drivers, Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin and Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski, have earned three, two and two victories, respectively, so far this season.

Team Penske’s Joey Logano and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Martin Truex Jr., like Elliott, have each won one race so far in 2019.

How did Elliott’s first victory of the 2019 season affect the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings? Here are the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings following the season’s 10th race.

NOTE: StarCom Racing’s Landon Cassill has been removed from both the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings and the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings as a result of the fact that he is no longer eligible to earn points in the Cup Series this season after he competed in the Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.
