A total of 40 drivers are set to qualify for the 12th race on the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, the Digital Ally 400, at Kansas Speedway, making this race the third race of the season to feature a full field.

This race is the first of two scheduled races at Kansas Speedway this season. The second of these two races is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 20 as the third and final race of the round of 12, which is the second round of the four-round playoffs, and the sixth of 10 races in the playoffs as a whole.

Six of the 40 drivers who are set to compete in Saturday night’s race under the lights at the track have combined to win the 11 races that have been contested so far this season, with four of those drivers having combined to win nine of those 11 races.

Of the other 34 drivers, 27 are full-time drivers while seven are part-time drivers.

Additionally, through the season’s first 11 races, eight different drivers have taken at least one pole position. Three of these eight drivers have taken two pole positions so far this season, and they have each taken one of the last three, as the season began with eight different polesitters in the first eight races.
