SpeedyCash.com 400 preview
Texas Motor Speedway is scheduled to host the next race of the 2019 NASCAR Truck Series season. This race, the SpeedyCash.com 400, is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 7. The following day, Saturday, June 8, the NTT IndyCar Series is scheduled to race at Texas Motor Speedway.
The SpeedyCash.com 400 is set to to consist of 167 laps around the 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas. The first and second stage are set to end after lap 40 and lap 80, respectively.
The SpeedyCash.com 400 is the first race of the Triple Truck Challenge. While Beyond the Flag will publish an article highlighting the importance of the Triple Truck Challenge, this race will have added stakes. Even though it is a standalone race for the Truck Series, perhaps the Triple Truck Challenge will incentivize part-time teams to make the trek to the track.

Three former Truck Series winners at Texas Motor Speedway will likely compete in the SpeedyCash.com 400. Both Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter have won multiple times at the track. For Crafton, a win there would be his first Truck Series victory since he won the 2017 Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway. He most recently won at Texas Motor Speedway in June of 2015.
Sauter has won five times at Texas Motor Speedway. He most recently won at the track in June of 2018. In 22 career Truck Series starts there, he has recorded 11 top five finishes and 17 top 10 finishes. His average finish at the track is 6.14, so expect him to contend for the SpeedyCash.com 400 victory.
The third former winner at Texas Motor Speedway who is set to compete in the SpeedyCash.com 400 is Greg Biffle. He is set to drive the #51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota in this race. He hasn’t raced in the Truck Series since the 2004 Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Biffle has won at Texas Motor Speedway twice in the Cup Series and once in the Truck Series. He also won the 2000 Truck Series championship, so he will be a driver to keep an eye on in the SpeedyCash.com 400.
The SpeedyCash.com 400 at Texas Motor Speedway is the next race on the 2019 NASCAR Truck Series scheduled and is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 7. Fox Sports 1 is set to provide live TV coverage of the race beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET.
