#10 through #6

Toyota, LW: 9. TODD GILLILAND. #10. Todd Gilliland showed a few flashes of race-winning speed in the CarShield 200. At the end of stage two, he was in seventh place. On the final restart, he lined up on the outside of the second row. When Ross Chastain spun his tires, Gilliland gave him a push. That push shot Chastain to the lead, and Gilliland chased him. Gilliland and teammate Christian Eckes raced side by side, which was enough to allow Chastain to win the race. Gilliland finished in second. Without a victory, he currently sits 84 points below the playoff cut line, so he has some work to do in the final five races of the regular season.. No. 4, Kyle Busch Motorsports

#9. The CarShield 200 saw Ross Chastain celebrate in victory lane, and the playoff cut line moved. As a result, Harrison Burton is now 53 points below the playoff cut line after entering the race 42 points above it. He had a fast #18 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota, but contact with Sheldon Creed ruined his chances of recording a good finish. He finished in 16th place, which was not indicative of his performance.. No. 18, Kyle Busch Motorsports. Toyota, LW: 8. HARRISON BURTON

#8. The change to the playoff cut line resulted in Ben Rhodes becoming the last driver above the playoff cut line with a 53-point margin. ThorSport Racing brought four fast Fords to Gateway for the CarShield 200, and Rhodes raced inside the top 10 throughout the race. He started in sixth place and finished stage one and stage two in third and sixth, respectively. He crossed the finish line in eighth, so more top 10 finishes should keep him in good position to qualify for the playoffs.. No. 99, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 7. BEN RHODES

#7. Matt Crafton has now competed at Gateway 16 times, and he has recorded nine top 10 finishes. While those are solid runs, the two-time Truck Series champion has still never won there. He came up eight positions short in the CarShield 200 with a ninth place finish, but he earned 11 stage points. In the next race at Chicagoland Speedway, he has recorded five top 10 finishes in 10 starts. He’s still seeking his first victory there, and a victory in this race would clinch him a playoff berth.. No. 88, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 5. MATT CRAFTON

#6. The Fox Sports 1 broadcasters commented that with all of the laps that he’s led in his Truck Series career and with all of his good finishes, isn’t it about time Stewart Friesen wins a race? While I certainly agree, he came up short once again in the CarShield 200. He led 20 laps, but he finished in third place. He also angered Christian Eckes when he spun Eckes out for third the last lap. Regardless, he left Gateway 62 points above the playoff cut line, but at this point, he is more concerned about winning than he is about points.. No. 52, Halmar Friesen Racing. Chevrolet, LW: 6. STEWART FRIESEN
