After what has been a boring start to the 2019 Formula 1 season, let’s at least try to spice it up with predictions for the season’s final 13 races.

Eight of the 21 races on the 2019 Formula 1 schedule are in the books, resulting in eight victories and six 1-2 finishes for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport.

Lewis Hamilton has won four races in a row, six of the last seven and eight of the last 10 going back to last season, while Valtteri Bottas has won other two, giving the Silver Arrows 10 consecutive victories.

Will the remainder of the 2019 season produce the same boredom that the season’s first eight races have produced, or will things start to happen to spice things up and turn what has become the world’s leading treatment for insomnia into a product worth watching again?

The answer to that question remains unclear, but in the meantime, here are winner predictions for each of the season’s remaining 13 races.

Austrian Grand Prix

After four consecutive Austrian Grand Prix victories, last year’s awful strategy and double retirement in this race made it one to forget for Mercedes as Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen earned the upset victory. And let’s be honest; they have no need to remember it, because there’s no way it’s going to repeat itself. Formula 1 fans couldn’t get that lucky two years in a row.

Winner: Lewis Hamilton
