By Asher Fair
Sebastien Buemi took his series-high third pole position of the 2018-2019 Formula E season for the season’s penultimate race, New York City ePrix Race 1, at Brooklyn Street Circuit.
Nissan e.dams’ Sebastien Buemi is one of the few drivers who is set to enter the final weekend of the 2018-2019 Formula E season with an extremely slim margin for error as it pertains to remaining in the championship fight.
So far, so good for Buemi, as he took the pole position for the first race of this weekend’s New York City ePrix doubleheader and collected the three bonus points that come along with it.
This pole position Buemi’s third pole position of the season, which ties him with teammate Oliver Rowland for the most pole positions among all drivers through the first 12 races of the 13-race season.
