Brad Keselowski took his first pole position of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series for the 20th race on the schedule, the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski became the 11th different driver to take a pole position in the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season by taking the pole position for the 36-race season’s 20th race, the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Keselowski took the pole position for this 301-lap race around the four-turn, 1.058-mile (1.703-kilometer) New Hampshire Motor Speedway oval in Loudon, New Hampshire by recording a top lap time of 27.927 seconds (136.384 miles per hour) in his #2 Ford in the single-car qualifying session for this race.

Keselowski is set to start the race alongside the highest qualifying Toyota driver for the race, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch, in second place in his #18 Toyota. Busch was just 0.015 seconds (0.073 miles per hour) shy of becoming Toyota’s first polesitter of the season.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kurt Busch was the highest qualifying Chevrolet driver for the race. He qualified in third in his #1 Chevrolet.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Erik Jones and Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney rounded out the top five on the speed chart in this qualifying session by qualifying in fourth and fifth place in their #20 Toyota and #12 Ford, respectively.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Martin Truex Jr., Leavine Family Racing’s Matt DiBenedetto, Team Penske’s Joey Logano, Stewart-Haas Racing’s Aric Almirola and Hendrick Motorsports’ Jimmie Johnson are set to round out the top 10 on the starting grid for this race after qualifying in sixth, a career-high seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place in their #19 Toyota, #95 Toyota, #22 Ford, #10 Ford and #48 Chevrolet, respectively.

Hendrick Motorsports’ Alex Bowman did not get to complete his qualifying run after his drive shaft fell out of his #88 Chevrolet, causing a lengthy red flag period for oil cleanup on the front straightaway.
