Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the ninth of 10 tracks on the 2019 schedule that features only one race. The only remaining track on the schedule that hosts only one race is Homestead-Miami Speedway, the site of the Championship 4 season finale.
The playoffs do, however, feature one race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway roval, which has not yet hosted a race this season. However, the Charlotte Motor Speedway oval hosted a race back in late May.
Entering this Sunday afternoon’s race, 11 different drivers representing six different teams have won at least one race this season, although only 10 of these drivers representing five of these teams are full-time drivers. Of these 10 drivers, seven representing four different teams have won multiple races so far this year.
Meanwhile, 12 different drivers representing six different teams have taken at least one pole position so far in 2019 season. All of these 12 drivers are full-time drivers, but only six of them representing four different teams have taken multiple pole positions this year.
Who will take the pole position for this 160-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval in Speedway, Indiana, and who will qualify where throughout the rest of the 40-car field?
