NASCAR Xfinity Series: 2019 opening playoff picture

The 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series regular season is in the books. How do the 12 playoff drivers stack up against one another heading into the playoffs?
With the 26-race 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series regular season in the books, the three-round, seven-race 2019 playoffs are scheduled to begin this Friday, September 20.
Six drivers qualified for the playoffs by winning at least one of the regular season’s 26 races while six other drivers filled the remaining playoff spots based on their point totals.
Throughout the course of the regular season, many of these 12 playoff drivers earned playoff points by winning races and/or winning stages. Five playoff points are awarded for each race win while one playoff point is awarded for each stage win.
Here is how the 12 playoff drivers stack up against one another in terms of the playoff points that they earned throughout the regular season.

However, these playoff point totals are not the playoff point totals that were added to the point totals of these drivers to open up the playoffs. Additional playoff points were awarded to the playoff drivers who finished the regular season in the top 10 in the championship standings depending on where they finished..
