Follow along with our live qualifying updates for the Drydene 400 at Dover International Speedway, the first race of the round of 12 of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

The second round, the round of 12, of the four-round, 10-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs is scheduled to get underway this Sunday, October 6 with the Drydene 400 at Dover International Speedway following the conclusion of the three-race round of 16.

After 12 drivers advanced from the round of 16 to the round of 12 following the races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Richmond Raceway and the Charlotte Motor Speedway roval, these 12 drivers are set to be narrowed down to eight for the round of 8 following the three-race round of 12.

The round of 12 consists of races at Dover International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway.

A total of 38 drivers are set to compete in the round of 12 opener at Dover International Speedway, which is the eighth of 13 tracks on the schedule to feature two races.

Entering this race, 11 different drivers representing six different teams have won at least one race so far this season. That said, only eight of these race winners representing four different teams are set to compete in the round of 12.

As far as polesitters are concerned, 13 drivers representing six different teams took at least one pole position this season. However, only nine of these drivers representing five different teams are set to compete in the round of 12.
