How have each of the four drivers in the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 fared at Homestead-Miami Speedway in past trips there?
The four drivers set to compete in the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway are Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch as well as Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick.
Truex locked himself into the Championship 4 by winning the opening race of the round of 8 of the four-round, 10-race playoffs at Martinsville Speedway. Harvick locked himself into it by winning the following race at Texas Motor Speedway, and Hamlin locked himself into it by winning the round of 8 finale at ISM Raceway. Busch locked himself into it on the strength of his point total.
Truex, Busch and Harvick all competed in the Championship 4 in the 2015, 2017 and 2018 seasons. Harvick also competed in it in the 2014 season, as did Hamlin, and Busch also competed it in the 2016 season.

Truex has competed in 14 races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, including one as a part-time driver and 13 as a full-time driver. He won the race at the track in the 2017 season, and he has recorded five top five and nine top 10 finishes there. His average finish at the track is 10.79.
Hamlin has competed in 14 races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, including one as a part-time driver and 13 as a full-time driver. He won the races at the track in the 2009 and 2013 seasons, and he has recorded four top five and nine top 10 finishes there. His average finish at the track is 10.57.
Busch has competed in 14 races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, all as a full-time driver. He won the race at the track in the 2015 season, and he has recorded four top five and seven top 10 finishes there. His average finish at the track is 17.43.
Finally, Harvick has competed in 18 races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, all as a full-time driver. He won the race at the track in the 2014 season, and he has recorded 10 top five finishes and 16 top 10 finishes there. His average finish at the track is 6.56.
