Many NASCAR Xfinity Series races have not been affected by the coronavirus pandemic despite the fact that several have been postponed.

A few weeks ago, the coronavirus pandemic brought the sports world to a screeching halt. Unfortunately, NASCAR was no exception. Action has not yet gotten back underway, and it is anybody’s guess as to when it will.

While NASCAR had initially planned to run the Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series races at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway without fans in attendance, they ended up postponing both weekends and further postponing all races through the first weekend in May. For the Xfinity Series, six of the 33 races on the schedule have been postponed.

More from Xfinity Series

Fortunately for NASCAR, not just for the Xfinity Series but for the Cup Series and Truck Series as well, their season did actually have a chance to get underway before the season came to a screeching halt, unlike IndyCar and Formula 1.

Four Xfinity Series races were contested before this stoppage in action. The most recent race was contested back on Saturday, March 6 at Phoenix Raceway.

Additionally, all of the postponed races have been simply postponed, not canceled, so the goal for the schedule, while it now contains 27 races, it still to feature all 33 initially scheduled events.

It is especially worth noting that while these postponements are certainly more than anybody wanted to deal with, many races on the schedule have not been affected in any way by a postponement or cancellation so far.

Here is a list of the 23 races remaining on the schedule that are still set to be contested on their originally scheduled dates.

NOTE: This list is subject to change, and if any more races end up being postponed or canceled, they will be removed from this list.
