NASCAR team owner Richard Childress is auctioning off personal items to assist in coronavirus pandemic relief efforts on the national and local levels.
As many people around the world are taking initiative to assist in coronavirus pandemic relief efforts, NASCAR team owner Richard Childress has decided that now is the right time to say goodbye to several of his prized possessions.
The 74-year-old Winston-Salem, North Carolina native has launched a personal Richard Childress Collection NASCAR memorabilia auction and sale on eBay, where fans can go to bid on or buy any one or more of several thousand items.
This collection includes many rare items, including a car that seven-time Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt actually drove. Childress has never parted with an original Earnhardt car among his collection.

"“I’ve got memories of every one of these cars. but when I know the suffering that’s going on, it’s a small sacrifice on my part to part with one of these cars.”"
Not all of the items that will be available have been uploaded to eBay at this time, as the auction and sale were just launched yesterday. Items are slated to be added periodically to both.
