5 NASCAR documentaries that should be made
1. Kyle Busch – 2015
Kyle Busch’s 2015 season was one of the most incredible accomplishments I have seen in NASCAR. Going from a broken leg and foot and being in the hospital to winning the Cup Series championship all in a few months is an amazing story.
The 2015 season was filled with the lowest lows and the highest highs for Busch, and a documentary focusing on that season for him would be must-watch television.

Busch crashed in the season-opening Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway, the day before the Daytona 500. The crash left him with a fractured right leg and a broken left foot, and he needed surgery to help repair his injuries.
It seemed unlikely that he would return to racing in the 2015 season. But he worked hard and was determined to race again in 2015. He made his return during the 2015 All-Star Weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, just around 3 months after his crash. He missed 11 Cup Series races but was granted a playoff waiver.
Busch ended up winning four times and fighting his way into the top 30 in points throughout the final 15 races of the regular season to qualify for the playoffs, and he ultimately went on to win the first of his now two championships.
It’s an awesome story that would make a great documentary. To see all of the struggle and hard work that he went through to get back behind the wheel as quickly as he did would be amazing to watch. This is one of the most incredible and unlikely comebacks in the history of the sport, and the story behind it deserves to be told.
