The starting lineup for this Sunday’s NASCAR All-Star Open qualifying race at Texas Motor Speedway was set by driver points.

The starting lineup for Sunday night’s NASCAR All-Star Race for $1,000,000 at Texas Motor Speedway was set by a random draw, but there are still four spots open in the 21-car lineup with only 17 drivers locked in on this year’s qualifying criteria so far.

Those remaining four spots are set to be determined by the outcome of the All-Star Open, and that starting lineup for this qualifying race was determined by driver points.

With only the drivers who are not yet locked into the All-Star Race set to compete in the Open, Richard Childress Racing’s Tyler Reddick is set to start from the pole position.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Reddick is set to lead the 22-car field to the green flag behind the wheel of his #8 Chevrolet for this three-round, 50-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) oval in Fort Worth, Texas. Set to start alongside Reddick on the front row in second place is Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher behind the wheel of his #17 Ford.

The winner of the first 20-lap round, the second 20-lap round and the third 10-lap round of this race are set to qualify for the All-Star Race and start that race in 18th, 19th and 20th place, respectively.

The 21st and final starting position in the All-Star Race is set to go to the winner of the Fan Vote. If the winner of the Fan Vote wins one of the three round of the Open or crashes out of the Open, the driver with the next highest vote total will be considered the Fan Vote winner and land that final spot.
