Keelan Harvick’s surprise Father’s Day gift for his father Kevin is an impressive new paint scheme for his #4 Ford in this Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.

NASCAR is set for its first race weekend at Nashville Superspeedway since 2011 this Father’s Day weekend, and this race weekend is set to include the first ever Cup Series race at the track: the Ally 400.

And in Sunday’s Ally 400, Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick is set to run a brand-new paint scheme on his #4 Ford, thanks in part to his son Keelan for Father’s Day.

Monster Jam, one of the most action-packed motorsports experiences for families in the world, partnered with the Stewart-Haas Racing organization to put the iconic artwork of the Grave Digger Monster Jam truck onto Harvick’s #4 Ford for this Sunday’s 300-lap race around the four-turn, 1.333-mile (2.145-kilometer) oval in Lebanon, Tennessee.

The car’s Grave Digger paint job was a Father’s Day gift from Keelan to Kevin.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

This is the first time that Monster Jam partnered with a NASCAR team. Adam Anderson, who pilots the Grave Digger Monster Jam truck, and his brother Ryan, who pilots the Son-uva Digger Monster Jam truck, helped the eight-year old son of the 2014 series champion pull off the surprise.

Through 16 races this season, Harvick is still seeking his first win since he won at Bristol Motor Speedway last September. He sits in ninth place in the point standings with four top five finishes, seven additional top 10 finishes, and an average finish of 11.6. The 45-year-old Bakersfield, California native is the only one of Stewart-Haas Racing’s four drivers who sits in the top 25 in the standings.

Here’s what Harvick had to say about the Monster Jam truck.

"“It’s THE monster truck. Loud noises, big engines, big wheels, big tires, fast racecars, and to have that be a surprise, it’s surprising to me because of the fact that it’s with Grave Digger and everything, the history, that goes with that truck. But it doesn’t surprise me that it’s something related to a car and tying it in to what we do.“This one caught me off guard, though, because I had no idea that any of this was happening and, to have my 8-year-old son be able to pull that off and know more about it than I do makes me feel like I’m a little bit left out. So we’re going to have to talk to somebody.”"
