Records Kyle Busch will always hold: No. 2 – Xfinity Series wins record

Speaking of the Xfinity Series, this is another record that Kyle Busch will likely hold forever. As stated on the previous slide, he had planned to retire once he hit 100 wins for several years, so he likely won’t win any more races in this series unless team owner Joe Gibbs needs him to fill in on occasion. But already, his wins record is in no position to be broken.

Now a 102-time race winner, Busch has more than twice as many wins as Mark Martin in second place on the all-time list (49).

In the Xfinity Series this season, he went a perfect five for five, winning at Circuit of the Americas, Texas Motor Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, Road America and Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Even three for five would have given him a new career-high in single-season winning percentage in the series. Before 2021, his best winning percentage in a single season was 58.82%, which he recorded by going 10 for 17 in 2016.

Again, you simply don’t see this level of dominance from full-time Xfinity Series drivers, and if you do, they likely end up in the Cup Series before getting too many wins, with most not returning to moonlight in the Xfinity Series like Busch has done for many years.
