F1 post-season videos: No. 4 – Lewis Hamilton’s absence

Did these videos also predict the future of Lewis Hamilton? Everyone knows what happened in the infamous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the repercussions of this race. With talks of his potential retirement circling around the Formula 1 community, it could have been the last time we saw him in these videos.

But it was not to be, and he was the only driver who was missing from them. Whatever his reasons were for not taking part in them, it would have been great to see the seven-time world champion take part and show his creative side with the gifts.

F1 post-season videos: No. 5 – Kimi Raikkonen’s final word(s)

The best part of any such video is Kimi Raikkonen. The fact that we won’t be seeing the Iceman in Formula 1 anymore is the worst thing to happen this season. Other than missing his presence on the race track, his off-track presence will be what fans will miss the most.

As revealed in his predictions, the Iceman had already made up his mind to retire even before the season had begun. His answer to his favorite race of the season was the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix because “it’s my last race in F1”.

There was nothing surprising that was going to happen for him in the 2021 season, which is not surprising for the man who won the 2007 world championship by a single point in the final race of the season — when he was the third favorite to win.

And obviously, his personal prediction was just one word: “Goodbye!”

P.S. – Lando Norris really needs to take some geography lessons. For a person who travels to different countries for each race, not knowing Zurich, for starters, or the fact that every country other than England isn’t the United States is funny. And yes, they do speak German in Switzerland!
