Several drivers across NASCAR’s top three series have seen their careers stagnate with their current teams, and a change could get them back on track.

Like any other season in NASCAR, there are multiple drivers who find themselves with teams that aren’t providing them with an opportunity to truly show their talent on race weekends.

The factors behind this can vary depending on the case, ranging from poor equipment to bad chemistry with crew chiefs to being viewed as an afterthought within their organizations.

In the past, we have seen drivers make moves to teams that didn’t always look like upgrades at the time, but they ultimately served as springboards for their careers and gave them new life.

Past examples include Joey Logano’s move to Team Penske in 2013, Kevin Harvick’s move to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014, and Martin Truex Jr.’s move to Furniture Row Racing in 2014. All three of those drivers won championships after those moves, with Logano winning two. Harvick won the 2014 title, Truex won it in 2017, and Logano won it in 2018 and 2022.

With that being said, which current drivers would benefit most from a potential move to a different race team? Here are four candidates to move on after this year.
