NASCAR: Major Updates Announced For NASCAR ’15 Game
The NASCAR video-gaming community has not been a place of joy for a few years now.
It’s no secret that NASCAR games have taken a bit of a step back in recent years. That being said, NASCAR gamers are loyal and if it’s there they are going to play it. After NASCAR ’14 was released it was announced that the franchise was changing hands which put NASCAR ’15 in doubt. After that it was announced that NASCAR ’15 would be a GameStop exclusive and that the game would essentially be an update to the previous release as opposed to a new game.

NASCAR ’15 is indeed nothing more than an updated version but it’s nice to have a game where all of the drivers are in the rides that they belong in.
Moving forward from NASCAR ’15 it wasn’t known when a new NASCAR game could have been expected. This week gamers got some good news when it was announced that NASCAR ’15 will have two major updates in the near future. According to the official NASCAR Gaming Facebook Page the first update (NASCAR Victory Edition) will come in October with the second (NASCAR ’16) to follow next year.

NASCAR Victory Edition will be sold as a separate game in retail stores however it will also be available as a free update for those who currently own NASCAR ’15. If you already own NASCAR ’15 there really isn’t any reason to drop $20 on the new game unless you’re a big Joey Logano fan and want to own the version with him on the cover.
