13th Seed – Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson is having one heck of a rookie season. Wrecks and tire issues in the past couple of races dropped Larson to the bottom of the chase pool but all of that isn’t going to matter when the driver of the No. 42 car wins one of the final seven races. Michigan, Atlanta and Richmond could all be spots where Larson could potentially pick up his first ever Sprint Cup Series win. Unlike Kenseth, Larson does not have the luxury of falling back on points. Larson is currently in the final chase spot and is tied for that spot in the point standings with fellow rookie Austin Dillon. Fans of the No. 42 shouldn’t worry though because Larson will have a nice run over the final seven races and he will secure his spot in the 2014 chase.
