Over the next seven races the chase field will become finalized and 16 drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will have the chance with win the 2015 NASCAR championship. As the Sprint Cup Series prepares to head to Indianapolis for the Brickyard 400, there are currently 11 drivers with wins this season. Of those 11 drivers the only one who doesn’t look like a lock for the chase is Kyle Busch. That being said, there is little reason to believe that Busch will not move into the top-30 in points over the next seven races.
What that leaves us with is a handful of drivers competing for the final five spots in the chase (assuming that Busch does indeed make the field). Of the drivers who have yet to win this season; some seem like a lock to make the chase while others not as much. Let’s take a look at some of the drivers without a victory this season and buy or sell their chances of not only winning before the chase begins but actually making the 2015 chase and contending for a championship.
