NASCAR fans today might think that the sport is offering the most it possibly can. However, those fans might have never experienced the great NASCAR and racing programming of yesteryear.
Today’s auto racing fan has luxuries that fans 20 or more years ago did not have. Fans can watch races on their television in high-definition, interact with their favorite drivers via various social media outlets and follow events in real-time on their computer or phone.

While there are countless positives for modern day race fans, there are some things that are no longer around that they are missing out on, particularly when it comes to television. These days most of the auto racing covered on television in the United States is focused on NASCAR.
It wasn’t always this way.
