Motorsports TV Schedule, August 11-14

With Olympic fever sweeping the sports world, it’s a quiet weekend in motorsports from Aug. 11 to Aug. 14. Find out which series are still racing in this week’s TV schedule.
With the excitement surrounding the Summer Olympics stealing the headlines from so many other sports, it’s no wonder that this weekend will be a quieter one across the motorsports landscape.
The three premier racing series that gather many of the U.S. fans each weekend – NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series, the Verizon IndyCar Series, and Formula One – are all off for a much needed summer break.

Meanwhile, the NASCAR Xfinity Series takes center stage in a solo event with their second consecutive road course race at Mid-Ohio.
In the rest of the racing world, the two wheelers will be in action all weekend long too. AMA Pro Motocross will be on track from New Berlin on MAVTV to kick off the moto events. The MotoGP World Championship gets the Sunday spotlight as they race from Spielberg, Austria.
