Motorsports TV Schedule, August 25-28

From the road courses to the big ovals, it will be busy around the world of racing. Here’s your motorsports TV schedule for the weekend starting Aug. 25.

The top racing series around the world will all be in action on the final weekend of August. And after rain delayed racing for NASCAR and the Verizon IndyCar Series, it will be a quick turnaround for their teams.

NASCAR makes their march to the north. The Camping World Truck Series races on Saturday from Michigan International Speedway, followed by the Xfinity Series at Road America. Then on Sunday, the Sprint Cup Series caps off the weekend in the Irish Hills with the Pure Michigan 400.

In the open-wheel world, IndyCar heads to Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday to finish off the race that was postponed from June. The Firestone 600 will resume on Lap 72 with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports’ James Hinchcliffe in the lead.

The next day Formula One makes their return from summer break with the Belgian Grand Prix and all the teams looking to see who can topple Mercedes.

AMA Pro Motocross will be back in action from Crawfordsville while the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is at Virginia International Raceway.
