NASCAR: 2017 Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol qualifying results

Erik Jones took the pole for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol on Saturday night for his first career NASCAR Cup Series pole.

In the 24th race of the 2017 season, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will race at the 0.533-mile Bristol Motor Speedway oval in Bristol, Tennessee for the second time this season.

The first of this season’s two races was held back towards the end of April, and Jimmie Johnson won that race from the 11th position, with polesitter Kyle Larson finishing in 6th place. To start the August race, Erik Jones will roll off in front of the field for the first time in his Cup Series career.
