Formula One: Win Droughts After Belgium
By Asher Fair
Winning Formula One races is not always easy. Some drivers have had very long waits since earning their most recent Formula One victory. In fact, some have never won at all.
With 12 races down in this season’s 20-race Formula One World Championship, many drivers are searching for their first victory in a long time. In fact, many drivers are searching for their first career Formula One victory. Which drivers are trying to end the longest winless streaks?
Lewis Hamilton took the victory in the Belgian Grand Prix at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot, Belgium. The win was his fifth of the season and second in the last three races.
As such, many of the long win droughts already held by many of the full-time Formula One driers only got longer as opposed to being cut down to 0.
