Winning IndyCar races is not always easy. Some drivers have had very long waits since earning their latest IndyCar victory. In fact, some have never won at all.

With 15 races down in this season’s 17-race IndyCar Series, many drivers are searching for their first victory in a long time. In fact, some drivers are searching for their first career IndyCar victory. Which drivers are trying to end the longest winless streaks?

Josef Newgarden took the victory in the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway Motorsports in Madison, Illinois. The win was his fourth of the season, and it was also his third in the last four races.

As such, many of the long win droughts already held by many of the full-time IndyCar drivers only got longer as opposed to being cut down to 0.

More from IndyCar

Marco Andretti hasn’t won in over six years, Charlie Kimball hasn’t won in over four years, and JR Hildebrand is still looking for his first win after he came one turn away from claiming it back in the 2011 Indianapolis 500.

Many other drivers are looking to get back to Victory Lane for the first time in over a year as well.

NOTE: This list includes drivers that are in the series with full-time rides only. Also, they only include the races in which the drivers have competed.

Also note that the * symbol means that the driver has never won an IndyCar race in their career.
